Beltzville Lake

Beltzville Lake is a man-made lake located in Carbon County, Pennsylvania within the Beltzville State Park. The lake was constructed in the 1970s by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers by damming the Pohopoco Creek. It is a popular recreation area, offering swimming, boating, fishing, picnicking, and camping. The lake covers over 949 acres and has a maximum depth of 106 feet. The park also features hiking trails, a visitor center, and organized educational programs.
